Poor Carlos! He is sooo bored here in the hospital. He wants to go home already, but they have said maybe tomorrow. He is pain free (a 3 on a scale of 1-10) so he is sick of laying in bed. He is also a on clear liquid diet only which he hates. lol He's not as grouchy as I thought he'd be here, but he is becoming impatient!
My mom has all my kids. She is staying at my house with them. They hate it cause she is making them clean! hehe But they love it cause she is cooking and baking away!
Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and well wishes! We love you all and I'll let you know when we go home!
Peace Out!

Married For Life!
Tonight we joined our friends for Married for Life at Rita and Jeremy's house. This was our first time to go and our first time to actually hang out with some of the couples from church. We planned on a Thanksgiving dinner. The food was delicious! Hector fried the turkey, that was the first time I had ever tried it cooked that way, and man was it awesome! Rita's home is so freaking cute. That girl can decorate! Oh, and she dresses really cute too. LOL But for real, her house is nice.
I made Carlos go this time. It's like everytime they have a get together, carlos has to work, or something. So i told him, NO EXCUSES, we are going to go whether you like it or not. He really didn't mind going either, he is just kinda shy. Well, all I know is that we truly have new friends for life. I haven't laughed so hard in a long freaking time. And we actually fit in. The couples are a little younger than Carlos is, but you couldn't tell. It was wholesome fun and we enjoyed ourselves so much.
I can't wait until next month so we can get together again. I think we're going to try and exchange gifts with eachother so that should be a fun time!

Long time no type!
WoW! It's been a while since I've updated my website. Where do I start? I'm not sure if I blogged about this but we bought our first house! yay! Seriously it was a long whirlwind event that I never want to go through again. Anything and everything happened to stand in our way, but we never let go of our faith. we stood strong and we prevailed in the very end. Now we have a really nice house that is all our own and best of all it's in town. LOL We are so ghetto. Like the first night Carlos and I went to Sonic for a drink and i was so happy i didn't have to drive 10 miles into town and 10 miles back home. I also love that i can go to Walmart anytime I want. I tried to upload some pics but my camera wouldn't turn on. So it's charging tonight, so i'll load some pics tomorrow.
I have a rosary to go to tomorrow. My BFF's brother died in a car accident on October 13th. That just so happens to be my daughters 9th Bday. This is so unreal and crazy. I didn't believe it at first but then i spoke to my BFF and she confirmed. This is so sad. I feel so helpless and guilty that this is happening to her family. Seriously, what does one actually say to someone in this situation. I find it really hard to talk to her. She came over tonight and I just let her speak at her own pace. It was good to see her and her hubby laughing and just letting go for a bit. I know how stressful this can be.
Well, I'm gonna crash out already. i just wanted to give an update on what's been going on in my life.
Oh yeah, my sister is out of jail already and that is a whole other blog! I promise not to stay away to long so I can feel you in! LOL

1 down, 3 to go?
So I have 4 girls. My oldest is Alicia. She is now 17 years old. She is really cute and very personable. I did not allow her to date in my presence. I know she had "boyfriends" at school, but to let me meet one, Oh Hell No! But now she is ALMOST an adult. So I allow for her boyfriend to come over and they go out. He is a really nice kid. Very respectful and always willing to do anything for us. Go to the store... "Yes, Ma'am!" Do you need money? " Nope, I have it" See he's really good. Almost too good! LOL
I just have this gut feeling that when Alicia turns 18, on May 29th, that she'll want to move outta my house and put off college to move in with this boy, who is 18 now. This really scares me. Like seriously, so I have stopped letting him come over as much. I don't allow for him to buy anything for the kids or even Alicia. Sometimes, I hear her on the phone telling him like we're in Lockhart. I don't know where we are going. Or, we are passing so so place right now. That totally pisses me off! I always starting yelling while she is on the phone with him, that she's only needs to answer to me and she isn't married! But damn, that erks me BAD!
I tried to talk to her but she was like, "But Mom I love him" Damn, I could have slapped her! I was calm and explained how she didn't realize it was puppy love. LOL Yeah, she wanted to slap me back! I hope she still goes to college and pursues her dreams of an education and a good job. Not a dream of living with a boy and having a family at 18. Maybe I'm so scared she'll make my mistakes, but I just want what's best for her. After all, I am the Drama Momma!

Lesson Learned!
Convo I had with my 17 year old daughter right before she was to fix lunch for the kids (cave people).
Alicia: What do I fix for lunch?
Me: Food!
Alicia: For real Mom, quit playing.
Me:Ummm, how 'bout spagetti?
Alicia: Yeah I thought about that but there is no ground meat.
Me: Let me tell you a story daughter.
Alicia: okay....
Me: When I was a little girl my Mom was poor. She couldn't always afford to buy us things, so we made due. When we didn't have shampoo we used a bar of soap. If we didn't have sugar, we did without it. If we didn't have can tomato sauce, she used tomatoes. When we didn't have ground meat, she heated up the ragu sauce and poured it over the noodles! So tell the Cave People they will live and won't die if there is no meat for lunch! Bwhahahhaha!
Alicia: Whatever Mom you suck!
Me: Yeah and your stepdad is happy so shut up! Hahahaha!

and, LetThere be Light!
Today was really no different than any other Sunday. We woke up early and got everyone ready for church. Carlos headed out first cause he is an Usher and has to be there early. As I started to head out the door, 30 minutes later, I got a call from Carlos telling me there was no electricity at the church. I was like awwe man, it's hot outside and i'm fat and sweat easily. This isn't going to be good. So I get there and hear the Pastor had already called the electricity company out to come fix the problem. He had already checked all of our breakers and it wasn't anything on our side. So the elec. man gets there and fixes a busted fuse on the big brown pole. He said it was really unusual that just the fuse busted and not the transformer as well. So instead of it taking 4 hours to fix, it only took 10 minutes. Back into the building we go, and on goes the AC. Weird stuff!
My daughter, Alicia pulled me aside and said her boyfriend Shane wanted to talk to me. So he tells me he really wants to take my family to dinner. I was like uh, no there is too many of us for you to pay for. He started to tell me how much he really wanted to do this for us, then I had a light bulb moment... Hellooo Amy, wouldn't you rather go out to eat than go home and cook for all of these cave people? Seriously, I couldn't say no after that crossed my mind! So we went to eat and when we finished my Mom called me and said my grandma called her and said that at my church in the morning everyone was standing around out side. She said we looked really sad and she was pretty sure someone had DIED! OMG!! Old ladies with their freaking gossip. So anyway my grandma wanted the 411 on who it was. I never called her back, she's crazy! LOL!
After a nap, I'm now drinking a Pepsi and eating a 3 Musketeers watching the Jeffersons, praying my cave kids won't start craving meat for dinner so i won't have to cook! LOL

Step Brothers
OMG! If you have not seen this movie, you have got to go see if. That is only if you like stupid funny. I do! But I'm stupid like that! LOL Seriously, this movie was funny as hell. I laughed the whole way through the movie. I would advise you to not take your children though. At one point of the movie one of the brothers takes out his nutsack and proceeds to rub it all over the drum set. Freaking hilirious.
Carlos is going into Austin this morning to go and pay bills. I don't wanna go with him cause he said we are NOT going out to eat afterward. That sucks! So I'd rather stay home and clean the room. *wink, wink* Or play on the computer!(As he likes to call it) Haha! Dude, I so need to do laundry also. I had to dig to find him clean shorts. So *yawn* I need to do laundry before he starts recycling! Bwhahahahahahaha! TMI! I know! hahahhahaa! I think after watching that movie it made me stupid too! So beware for that!
Alicia and I are laying on my bed laughing our asses off at Carlos because he has this totally bad habit of singing songs in spanish. Like Cyclone, or Wanted dead or Alive. It's stupid funny! LOL

Save the DRAMA for your Momma.. oh, that's ME!
I'm Amy, a 32 year old Momma to 6 kids. I was recently married (May 24th, one day before my bday)to the man of my dreams, Carlos! Only I didn't realize how demanding this man would be! Wash his clothes, clean my hair from the shower drain, make him dinner and lunch for work, oh and my favorite, get him a beer! Seriously! LOL! He's great and he's a keeper!
So you probably wonder how can I work and have so many kids at home. Easy... if I stayed home with the kids all day, I might strangle them! Ha! I kid, I kid. Call off CPS! But seriously, I work to keep my sanity. I blog to vent! I drink to unwind! Hahaha, I only drink sometimes!
I did get involved with Ameriplan selling their health discount program and helping people start their company doing the same! Residual income will release me from my spending woes in the future. LOL Then I can stay home while ALL the kids are in school! Great timing huh? check it out http://deliveringonthepromise.com/40611842 ok, I'll stop trying to sell and blog, do ya blame me? LOL!
As far as family goes, I have a Mom, Emma. She is 50 something and has started acting like my grandma. Although she doesn't realize it! My Dad, Gilbert passed away a couple of years ago. That's it about him, cause I still can't talk about that with anyone. I have a twin sister, Cecilia. We call her Sissy. She is ummm, unavailable at the moment. Ha. damn the ghettoness just falls out of me! My oldest Brother, Eric lives in Wyoming with his wife Angela that is in the Air Force. They have 3 kids, Landon, Sophia, and Aiden. Then there is the lil bro, Steve. He lives here in Austin with his wife Sarah. They have 2 kids, errr, Yorkies named Bailey and Sadie. They are the bad kiddos we don't like to invite over.LOL Then there is my clan, Amy, me! Carlos, Dad to Anessa and step dad to the other 5. Alicia, my oldest. She is going to be a senior this year and has a boyfriend. I know, that is scary! Robert, who just turned 14 years old today! He is a freshman now and play the saxophone in band and is a football player too. Ryan is 12 and supposed to go to 6th grade but he failed his Math TAKS. Then there is Audrey she is 10 yrs old. She is really clean and organized. She likes to help out in the kitchen too. Ariana, is 9yrs old. She's like me, LAZY. But she is sharp in school and knows her shit. Alot like me! Haha! Then there is Anessa, my baby girl! She is 6 and gets to do what she wants cause she is the baby. I had my tubes tied so she gets all the spoiling.
So I hope you find my family interesting and we keep you entertained. We are full of Drama, thus the name Drama Momma!
